Our Charitable Partners

Each school year, REUSE selects a Charitable Partner — a DMV-based non-profit that supports our values. Throughout the year, we participate in events with our partner and donate our excess proceeds to the organization. See below for more information on our current and past partners!

2024-2025: Rachel’s Network

Named in honor of Rachel Carson, whose work spurred the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency, Rachel’s Network is a community of women committed to a safer, healthier, and more just world for all. Their work supports funding for projects dedicated to issues like regenerative agriculture, environmental health and justice, conservation, and climate change. Collectively, the network is a dynamic community of sounding boards, allies, and friends who work together for a better world.

Stay tuned for our work with Rachel's Network this year!

2023-2024: Alice Ferguson Foundation

Founded over 70 years ago, the Alice Ferguson Foundation supports environmental education in the Potomac River Watershed for thousands of students, teachers, and citizens each year. Over 8,000 students participate in their Bridging the Watershed program, taking them to national and state parks in the Potomac Watershed where they learn hands-on about watershed preservation. They also host trash cleanups in the DMV area that 10,000 volunteers participate in.
