What We Do
Collect Donations
We collect donations of clothing, accessories, and school/dorm supplies at donation drives throughout the year and through our donation bins, which are located in dorms around campus.
Items we receive are sorted and either marked for resale or donated to organizations that align with our values.
Our donation system gives students an outlet for items that otherwise would be thrown out — reducing the amount of yearly waste on campus.
Resell & ReStitch
We host weekly sales at the Georgetown Farmers Market during Fall and Spring semesters in Georgetown’s Red Square.
We also host pop-up sales collaborating with organizations like the Georgetown Scholars Program and Georgetown Weeks of Welcome.
We provide free mending services through ReStitch - community members can give us their damaged clothing and we fix it up for them free of cost! Our ReStitch team also is now working to upcycle garments, giving old materials a new life!
Educate and Support the Community
Each year, we collaborate with our selected annual partner in order to scale our impact and support community events. Any profits after our operational expenses are donated to our yearly partner. In addition to our yearly partner, we host specific partnership sales with various organizations, including Georgetown Rangila and Georgetown SAPE in which a portion of proceeds are donated to a specific cause or charity.
We also collaborate with our partners for events relating to environmental protection efforts, including river cleanups and education sessions.
